Moto 360 update brings battery life improvements and other features

Moto 360

An update to the Moto 360 smartwatch is now bringing along some nifty changes. This comes a day after Google started rolling out the Android Wear 4.4W.2  update to its range of smartwatches such as the LG G Watch. Motorola’s update however also brings along some other changes to the fore. Most importantly, customers will see battery life enhancements post the update which will automatically turn off the Ambient Display feature on the device when the battery dips below 15%.

Further, the update brings the ability to temporarily dismiss a notification by tapping it on the top and swiping down. This notification will then reappear along with the next major notification that pops up on the smartwatch. Motorola has also included some brightness adjustment features allowing users to get appropriate brightness from the device even when it’s being charged.

The update notification should arrive anytime on your Moto 360 now, so make sure you’re on the lookout. And if you’ve already received the update, make sure you let us know.
