Shortly after the launch of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, Apple posted a guide to help Android users migrate to iOS. This was only natural as the new iPhones were Apple’s first set of large sized phones and the company expected a lot of Android users to switch over. And now, Google has done the same, about a week after the announcement of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
This guide from the Mountain View company underlines four crucial areas that the customers need to know about before switching from iOS to Android – Contacts (including the ones on iCloud), Photos & Music, Email and lastly the apps. Google also details how images can be backed up on the cloud using Google+ Photos. The full list can be found on Google’s official Android page, so make sure you give it a look if you’re considering a switch from iOS to the latest flavor of Android.
Guides like these make life a lot easier for customers who switch over from rival platforms to an all new ecosystem. What do you think of Google’s new guide? Let us know below.
