Google Play Music Now Integrates With Songza

A few months ago Google announced that they were purchasing Songza, the service that curated different music playlists depending on your activity. For that time, Google was not doing much in the user-facing area.

Now, along with a Material Design update, Songza is now integrated into the Play Music app. This is only available for All Access subscribers, so if you just use the free portion of Play Music, it isn’t available. But if you do have it, you’ll be offered the ability to play music during a certain time of day, mood, or activity.

The Songza integration is also available for Play Music on the web, so even if you’re on a computer you have access to it. Both on mobile and the web, you can find Songza integration under the “Listen Now” section.

For availability, the activity-based stations are only available in the US and Canada for now on Android, iOS, and on the web. But the new “Listen Now” page is available in all countries that have Play Music availability.

You will need the latest update, which you can either get from Google Play or download the APK from here. Will you be using the new integration?
