First camera samples from the Nexus 6 are here

Nexus 6

The Nexus 6 is one beast of a device with its 6 inch QHD display, the Snapdragon 805 chipset and the 13-megapixel camera on the back with optical image stabilization. For the first time in as far as we can remember, Google has utilized a very capable (but still not the best) sensor on a Nexus smartphone. This is completely understandable given the price it’s going to sell for. And to give you a better idea of what the camera can do, a Google+ user with a demo unit has decided to post some sample images taken from the smartphone in everyday surroundings.

As is immediately obvious from these pictures, they are nothing to write home about. Of course, this could be down to the photographer and not necessarily the camera, so it might be a little early to pass judgment. But if this is indeed taken from the Nexus 6, then it’s clear that customers shouldn’t expect a camera which can blow the competition out of water.

Have a gander at the images and judge for yourself.
