Evleaks Shows Off New Nexus 6 Render

While Evan Blass, known as Evleaks, is now retired, that hasn’t stopped him from outing new devices. Today, we get the first true render of Motorola’s upcoming new Nexus phone.

Here we can see it looks very familiar, like a larger version of the existing Moto X. We can see more details of Android L (which might be called Licorice) as well, including some new icons.

While we can see that the Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides icons are mostly the same, Google Play Music’s icon is new. And behind the Google app, we can see what appears to be Google Maps’ new icon. So this solidifies that more apps will be getting Material Design updates as Android L is released.

We still don’t have any official word from Google on this device or its HTC tablet Nexus 9 counterpart, but if the screen on this new Nexus phone is indeed 5.92″ in size, are you interested in this larger phone?
