AT&T to start selling the Kindle Fire HDX tomorrow

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX

The Kindle Fire HDX tablet will be up for grabs via AT&T starting tomorrow according to a new release issued by the carrier. The tablet is currently sold only via Amazon’s online store, but the retailer can hope to make significant damage with the device being sold through the country’s second largest carrier.

AT&T is selling the 7 inch variant of the Kindle Fire HDX as of now, with no word on the 8.9 inch model yet. Pricing has been set at $99.99 with a two year contract or $10 a month for a period of 20 months via AT&T Next. To make the tablet more alluring to potential buyers, AT&T is offering it for just $50 if you purchase the Amazon Fire Phone along with the Kindle Fire HDX.

The tablet features a 7 inch 1920 x 1200 resolution display, 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 800 SoC, stereo speakers and a customized build of Android Jelly Bean. Would you be interested in getting the Kindle Fire HDX through AT&T or do you prefer other Android offerings available in the market.
