16GB Nexus 7 now selling for $130 via Newegg

Nexus 7

Folks looking to snatch up Google’s flagship tablet from 2013 will be pleased to know that Newegg is selling it for just $129.99. This is nearly $100 off the original asking price, so it’s a pretty good deal on the device. One caveat with the deal however is that it’s manufacturer refurbished, which means that the device has been used before, but has been through the manufacturer and has been restored to its original state.

The 2013 Nexus 7 is on the brink of becoming obsolete as Google is about to launch the HTC branded Nexus 9 tablet sometime this month. At the moment however, the Nexus 7 is still the best tablet you can buy from Google. Newegg is offering this deal only via the eBay listing, so you won’t find this promo on its official page.

To jog your memory a bit, the Nexus 7 packs a 7 inch 1920 x 1200 resolution display, a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, a 1.2-megapixel front camera, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and a 3,950 mAh battery.
