T-Mobile has officially announced the arrival of the ZTE ZMAX on its network starting Sep. 24. The smartphone will be an exclusive with the carrier in the U.S. and will set you back by $10.50 per month for a period of two years or $249.99 upright. T-Mobile’s subsidiary, MetroPCS, will also start selling the smartphone later this year.
So what’s exactly special with the ZTE ZMAX? Well for starters, it is almost the same size as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with its 5.7 inch panel, although the resolution is only 720p. The device also sports a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 quad core SoC, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, a 1.6-megapixel front camera, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and a 3,400 mAh battery. The ZMAX is also LTE compatible, so T-Mobile customers can enjoy blazing fast data speeds with this midranger. The smartphone reportedly has a two day battery life thanks to the massive 3,400 mAh unit on offer.
