Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 gets official CyanogenMod 11 support

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has been officially added to the CyanogenMod 11 support list, which means that owners of the device can now download nightlies and get updates from the team instantaneously. This is good news if you’ve been wanting to switch from Samsung’s TouchWiz UI to something like CM with the added perks of having bonus features that stock Android ROMs don’t offer.

CyanogenMod 11 is already supported on the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, so only the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 and the Note Pro 12.2 are missing from the support list. Bear in mind that nightlies are usually not in perfect working condition and there could be a few issues to iron out. So make sure you drop a line to the team over at CyanogenMod if you see any issues with this ROM for the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1.

For those unaware, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 belongs to the company’s premium line of tablets packing a 2560 x 1600 resolution display, an Exynos 5420 octa-core chipset, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot and an 8,220 mAh battery. There’s no word on when the LTE model of the tablet will get access to CM11, but for the time being support is limited to the WiFi model of the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Head over to the link below to download the ROM for your tablet.
