Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launching in 140 countries by October end

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Samsung is no stranger to huge product launches, with the Galaxy Note 3 having gone on sale in 140 countries around the world on the same day last year. Well, it looks like the Korean manufacturer is looking to achieve the same record with the Galaxy Note 4, but over a period of a few days – Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Note 4 will be available for purchase in over 140 countries by the end of October.

US carriers have already announced release dates and pricing, with Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular set to start shipping the device on October 17. Pre-orders for the device are already open across all carriers; recent rumors suggest Samsung is worried about competition from Apple’s new 5.5-inch iPhone 6 and has decided to launch the Galaxy Note 4 earlier than planned, though it’s possible this won’t affect the launch date anywhere except in Samsung’s home country of South Korea.
