With the anticipation for the upcoming Nexus smartphone getting higher with every passing day, a new revelation made by 9to5Google has revealed essentially everything we need to know about the upcoming Google flagship. As the mockup suggests, the smartphone will feature a pretty large display mirroring the design of the 2nd gen Moto X with the power and volume keys rearranged for easier one handed operation.
Specs wise, the smartphone is believed to be packing a monster 5.92 inch 2K resolution display, a 2.6 GHz Snapdragon 805 SoC, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, 32GB of internal storage, 3GB of RAM, a 3,200 mAh battery and Android L. Some reports have even claimed that the Motorola logo on the back could be a fingerprint sensor, although there’s no clarification on that yet.
Considering that we’ve stumbled across a 5.2 inch QHD smartphone from Motorola in the wild, it’s safe to assume that there could be more than one Nexus smartphone launching in November. It is also likely that this is merely an upcoming phablet from Motorola, so don’t get your hopes up just yet. But considering the rising demand for phablets of late, it won’t be far fetched to assume that Google would take the step. What do you think of this rumored Nexus 6 variant, is it too big for your liking?
