ASUS has already made the ZenWatch public with the help of teasers, although we haven’t seen the device in action yet. And now, a new report claims that the smartwatch will be available for purchase starting October which is when most new smartwatches are expected to be available. The report also sheds some light on the pricing claiming that it will cost less than $200 at the time of launch.
Considering what we’ve seen from the ZenWatch so far, this could be a very attractive pricing considering the likes of the LG G Watch R are expected to be priced at around $300. Since both smartwatches are expected to feature a relatively similar design, the pricing could have a major influence on potential customers.
However, customers still have over a month to wait for the official availability of the ZenWatch with an announcement scheduled for this Wednesday. We look forward to hearing more about ASUS’ new wearable in the coming days.
