Verizon HTC One Max finally getting the Sense 6.0 update

HTC One Max

Verizon’s variant of the HTC One Max smartphone is now getting Sense 6.0, much longer after the unlocked variants got the update. This UI was first introduced with the One M8 back in March and has been included in almost every HTC device that has launched since then, including a handful of midrange smartphones. So there was no hardware limitation restricting the One Max phablet from getting the update.

The Android version won’t be changed however, but users will be welcomed to a complete visual overhaul nonetheless. Apart from these changes, the Verizon One Max is also getting some fixes to the fingerprint scanner and the ISIS Mobile Wallet app. As is the nature of these updates, customers might have to wait depending on their location to see the update notification. Hitting the settings and manually checking for an update might help as well.

The update is over 613MB in size, so ensure that the device is connected to a WiFi connection before downloading the update.
