HTC bringing Zoe and other apps to all Android devices

HTC boasts of having a premium and user rich experience with its current version of Sense UI which is seen on several HTC devices. However, these features are exclusive to its devices. But this could change soon according to a new report. It is believed that the Taiwanese manufacturer is looking to broaden its horizon as far as apps are concerned, in order to attract a wider audience. This will include apps such as Zoe, BlinkFeed, Clock, Gallery and Sense TV.

It is said that HTC will launch Beta versions of these apps initially with only high end devices from manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Sony etc expected to be compatible. It’s a bold move from the company and could help the world see why HTC services are praised and lauded although their devices aren’t exactly flying off the shelves.

It will be interesting to see how HTC will make changes to these apps for them to work on other devices. Some features like Zoe are hardware driven, which could cause some issues. Regardless of that, it is a good move from the company to bring its exclusive apps to other Android devices.

Which app are you looking forward to the most? Let us know below.
