Verizon Moto X Gets Android 4.4.4 Through A Soak Test

Moto X

According to Android Central, some users of the Moto X on Verizon are getting emails for a new soak test. Since Motorola recently said that their Android 4.4.4 upgrade is “well under way,” we can presume that this is most likely part of the soak test.

If the soak test is successful, it’s presumable that Verizon and Motorola will push out the 4.4.4 update to all Moto X users. This comes after the release of a similar soak test of KitKat 4.4.4 for the Droid Ultra, Maxx, and Mini.

If you’ve gotten an email about this soak test, have you noticed any specific changes on your device? And if not, are you at least glad for the relatively fast turnaround of an Android 4.4.4 update?
