The Verizon variant of the Moto G is now getting the Android 4.4.4 update almost a month after Google started rolling it out to its Nexus and GPE devices. The update to Android 4.4.4 brings the customary changes from Google as well as software specific tweaks for features such as the camera.
Since the Moto G runs a relatively stock version of Android, users will see the smartphone getting the all new dialer which was a feature introduced with Android 4.4.3. Also new is the ability to pause video recordings and resume whenever necessary, this was a feature which originally began rolling out to Motorola smartphones back in June.
The Moto G on Verizon is available as a prepaid offering, so there are quite a lot of users out there. Although the update has started seeding already, it might take a couple of days to finish rolling out to the entirety of the Verizon Moto G population. But make sure you let us know if the update has already surfaced on your smartphone.
