T-Mobile LG G2 getting Knock Code with a new update

Although quite late in the day, the T-Mobile version of the LG G2 is now getting the much awaited Knock Code update. This is LG’s security feature which allows users to unlock their device with a series of taps. The AT&T model of the smartphone received the update not too long ago, so it was only a matter of time until the T-Mobile model got it too. Since this is Android 4.4.2, users will be able to see performance improvements and some bug fixes on board as well.

In addition to waiting for the OTA update to arrive on your device, users can manually download the OTA by hitting the link below. Since the update brings a lot of new features, it’s over 300MB in size, so make sure you’re connected to a WiFi network before downloading it. T-Mobile’s support page says that the update can take until August to land on every compatible smartphone, so patience is advised.
