Modern Combat 5: Blackout hitting mobile devices on July 24

Modern Combat 5: Blackout

The latest installment in the Modern Combat franchise, known as Blackout will make its way to mobile devices starting July 24 according to an announcement made by Gameloft on Twitter. The series is quite popular with fans for being one of the best first person shooter games available for mobile devices, which isn’t a surprise coming from a top billing developer like Gameloft.

The game will be priced at $6.99, which is expected for a game of this caliber. And also new is the addition of a combined single-player and multiplayer experience, which essentially means that users will need an internet connection to progress within the game. The developers have also announced support for third party game controllers, but that will be possible with an update to the game in the future.

So it seems like Gameloft has covered all its bases with the latest Modern Combat title and it could turn out to be their most successful game in the franchise. Will you be looking forward to Modern Combat 5? Let us know in the comments below.
