The Tinder app has just received a new update which brings forth a bunch of features including a slightly changed UI. Among the most notable changes is the ability to send pictures to matches, which is known as “Moments”. This feature is straight out of Snapchat’s books as it essentially sends a self destruct image which disappears in 24 hours. Interestingly, the image is sent out to all the matches you’ve made within the app, so there’s no feature to send an image to a specific person.
Users have the ability to edit images with filters and make some other minor tweaks as well, which is a neat touch. One caveat here though is that the image should be freshly taken from the camera and cannot be an older picture from the Gallery.
The makers of Tinder perhaps felt the need for a bit of spicing up to its existing architecture and this is certainly a good way to go. The updated version of the app should be rolled out with an update if you have the app already installed. But if you are new to the app, you can download it from the link below.
