The Samsung Galaxy F is looking more and more real as the days pass with each leak giving us a closer glimpse of the device. This new leak pits it against the Galaxy S5, thus giving us a side-by-side comparison of the two devices. The difference in size is immediately apparent thanks to its slim side bezels. it also looks to be slightly taller as well, although that could just be the angle at which the image was taken. It’s clear however that this is indeed a new device, but it’s still too early to tell if it’s actually the Galaxy F with the rumored 2K display.
Going by the wallpaper Samsung has used, it’s safe to assume that this is indeed a new device as the company usually changes the default wallpaper with the launch of a new device. We’re hoping the smartphone gets announced sometime soon as the company would want it to compete with the LG G3 just as it hits the markets in July.
Rumors have suggested the Galaxy F to feature a 2K resolution display, a Snapdragon 801 chipset, the same 16-megapixel camera as on the Galaxy S5, a heart rate monitor, a fingerprint scanner, 3GB of RAM along with Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The smartphone is also expected to feature an all metal body. Samsung is holding the “Galaxy Premiere” event later today, so it’s likely that we’ll learn more about this device later in the day.
