Samsung’s 2014 Edition Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is now apparently getting the Android 4.4 update. It is said that the LTE variant of the tablet is getting the update first, starting from the Nordic region, but we expect it to roll out to other regions subsequently. The WiFi variant of the tablet has already received the update in April, so Samsung has only delayed the rollout of the LTE variant up until now. So if you own this particular version of the tablet carrying the model number SM-P605, make sure you’re on the lookout for an update.
The update will bring the standard KitKat related changes. Users will also be able to see subtle changes with TouchWiz. Among the notable Android related changes include the white status bar icons, the immersive mode feature with apps as well as the ability to switch between different home screen launchers from the settings. Samsung’s usual suite of software improvements are on board as well.
