The LG G3 Mini (D722) has just been spotted on an Indian import database. The existence of this device has been revealed roughly a week after the LG G3 was announced, so take it with a pinch of salt for now. Devices usually circulate across the globe for testing purposes all the time, so it’s possible this is one of those handsets.
The listing shares some details on the hardware of the smartphone with a 4.5 inch display, a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, a 5-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal storage and a 2,100 mAh battery being mentioned.
Going by mini devices we’ve seen of late, we don’t think the LG G3 Mini will be anything like its bigger sibling. The idea behind these devices are to provide a low cost and smaller alternative to the company’s main flagship. Sony is perhaps the only manufacturer who has gotten the mini form factor right.
We’ll keep a close eye on this particular device and update you with any new information we get.
