The LG G Watch is no mystery to us as the company has been teasing its launch ever since Android Wear was announced by Google in March. However, its hardware has remained a mystery to us over the course of the months with practically no knowledge of what to expect from the device. But a new leak is now putting a rest to months of waiting with detailed information on the hardware of the smartwatch. It is said that the G Watch will pack 4GB of storage inside accompanied by 512MB of RAM.
It is further claimed that the 400 mAh battery on board will have a standby time of 36 hours while it is capable of replenishing itself in less than two hours. The leak also confirms that the device will rely on Bluetooth 4.0 LE to interact with the Android smartphone. This is perhaps the most expansive hardware leak of the G Watch we’ve come across so far and it appears to be quite legitimate as well. LG is expected to provide a free unit of the smartwatch to attendees of the Google I/O event later this month, so we’ll expect to gather more details by then.
