Google Keep update brings official support for Android Wear

Google Keep LogoGoogle has just updated the Keep app on Android with support for Android Wear. This update should allow smooth syncing of content across devices as Google demoed during the I/O keynote last morning.

There don’t seem to be plenty of other changes on board, but it should be plenty considering that the two Android Wear smartwatches are expected to arrive in the second week of July. Almost all of Google’s core apps will be supported by default, so users can seamlessly sync content across Android devices without breaking a sweat.

Although the changes on board the new Keep app will not affect many users at this point, you can download and sideload the apk file manually if you’re impatient to wait for the update to officially roll out.

Google’s demonstration yesterday showed how notes can be taken in an instant using the Google Keep app on Android Wear devices. This is a great feature to have keeping functionality in mind.
