Android 4.4.3 now rolling out for the Moto G

Moto G

Motorola’s budget offering, the Moto G has now received the Android 4.4.3 update just after the Moto X variants in the U.S. started getting the update. The update brings the company’s Moto Alert feature to the device as well, which is an notifications system allowing you to ping your relatives when in need or track location.

Motorola has made the Moto Alert app available in the Play Store and it is being rolled out to the Moto X as well. The app debuted with the Moto E as a default app, but it’s good to see that Motorola is keen on sending the app to its other devices as well.

Other Android 4.4.3 specific features are making their way with the update which includes bug fixes and an all new dialer, so things will be noticeably different post the update.
