Verizon Wireless was one of the first carriers in the U.S. to start selling the HTC One (M8). The carrier has now slashed the contract pricing of the handset bringing it down to just $99.99. This is a flat $100 off the older asking price, so it’s a pretty massive discount from the carrier.
There’s no word on how long this promo will last, but considering that there’s no formal announcement made by Verizon, we won’t be surprised if it disappears off the surface in a few days. The smartphone’s pricing on Verizon Edge has come down as well to just $24.99 per month for two years compared to $25.22, while off contract pricing remains $599.99.
If you haven’t picked up an HTC One (M8) yet and are due an upgrade, the new discount should make the decision much easier. This is easily one of the best smartphones in the market today along with the Samsung Galaxy S5, so the price reduction is a very welcome addition.
