The LG G3 is just a day away from launch and understandably, we’re seeing the leaks pour in. A new leak has now confirmed that American carrier Sprint will be selling the smartphone. Evleaks has uncovered the press render of this variant, telling us everything there is to know about the Sprint LG G3. Interestingly, there’s no carrier branding on the device, which is out of the ordinary.
So how do we know this is the Sprint variant? Well, on the top right corner of the display, we can see the Sprint Spark logo next to the LTE sign, which is a clear indication that this is indeed a Sprint phone. The carrier has been pushing to expand its Spark networks by adding more devices to the compatibility list, so this is no surprise. The variant shown here is said to be ‘Titanium’, while a gold version seems to be available as well.
It seems like the carrier will have the smartphone available slightly later as the date on the device says July 25. This is not good news for customers on Sprint who would have been expecting to get the handset on launch day much like the HTC One M8. But it seems like the launch of the G3 will be scattered across the next couple of months to keep up with the demand.
We’ll know all there is to know about the smartphone in less than 24 hours, so make sure you’re hooked onto The Droid Guy for more on LG’s upcoming flagship.
