Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 makes an appearance on AnTuTu

Samsung - Galaxy Tab S

The 8.4 inch variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S has just made an appearance on AnTuTu, shedding light on the hardware specs of the upcoming AMOLED tablet from the manufacturer. If this leak is anything to go by, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 will feature a 2560 x 1440 resolution display, an 8-megapixel camera on the back accompanied by a 2-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The tablet is seemingly running on the Exynos 5420 octa core chipset as rumors in the past have indicated, possibly with support for LTE. Samsung’s octa core chips in the past have not come with support for 4G LTE, but that is expected to change with current gen hardware. On the software front, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is shown to be running on Android 4.4.2, which we’ve been expecting all along.

The tablet is expected to be announced on the 12th of June by Samsung, so we only have two more weeks to wait before catching our first glimpse of the company’s latest AMOLED tablets.
