LG G Pro on AT&T now receiving the Android 4.4.2 update

Optimus G Pro

The LG G Pro from last year (launched as the Optimus G Pro) on AT&T is now getting the Android 4.4.2 update. The update is rolling out in batches, so remain patient if you don’t see a notification yet. It has already been rolled out to international variants of the smartphone, so the update has obviously taken a while to arrive on the carrier.

It is over 700MB in size as it brings along quite a few changes on board, so make sure you’re on a WiFi network before downloading the update. You can find the changelog below:

  • Restyled status and navigation bars
  • New full-screen mode
  • Stronger security
  • Battery performance improvements
  • Google Cloud Printer support
  • Enhanced processing speed

AT&T urges users to back up music and image files to their SD card prior to updating as there could be potential loss of data. So make sure you keep that in mind before proceeding with the download. Make sure you let us know if you’ve received the update already.
