HTC One starts getting Sense 6.0 update in Canada

HTC One getting update with Sense 6.0 in Canada

After pushing out an update that brought its new Sense 6.0 UI to the HTC One max on Sprint, HTC is now streaming the same update to its 2013 flagship in Canada. The 668MB update is available for all carriers, including Rogers, Bell and TELUS and can be downloaded over the air via the automatic notification that will crop up, or manually triggered from the Settings » About » Software update menu.

The software version of the phone will be bumped up to 5.11.661.8 after the update, which brings features such as color-coded themes, Extreme Power Saving Mode for extended battery life, improved BlinkFeed with option to add more content sources, and personalized fonts. Also included are enhancements to the imaging experience, which brings a new interface for the gallery and camera apps, and an Image Search option in the Gallery for matching an image with others on the phone.

Here’s hoping the update rolls out in the US soon.
