If there was any uncertainty about the hardware that the LG G3 would pack, this new revelation should pretty much clear all our doubts. This image was apparently taken from a secret retailer event held in South Korea and it appears to be a slide from a presentation, so it’s almost obvious that this is the real deal.
The slide tells us that the smartphone will indeed pack the rumored 5.5 inch Quad HD IPS display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 3,000 mAh battery, a quad core Snapdragon 801 chipset, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and support for LTE/LTE-A networks wherever available. The model number shown here is the F400S with the F400K and F400L mentioned as well.
So we finally have some clarification on what to expect from LG’s announcement next week, which means that the suspense has finally been broken before the big unveiling. It might be a bit of a letdown that the smartphone doesn’t come with a Snapdragon 805 chipset, but considering that most flagship smartphones today have the Snapdragon 801 SoC, it shouldn’t make much of a difference.
