AT&T Now Has In-Store Pickup For Online Orders

If you’re on AT&T, you can now order a tablet or smartphone online and pick them up at your local store on the same day.  So you don’t need to deal with a salesperson pushing you to get a certain device since you already are scheduled to get one.

When checking out on AT&T’s website, you’ll see the option for “Store Pickup”. After selecting that option, a list of AT&T stores will be presented to you for picking up your device. Within an hour, AT&T will send you a text message saying your order is ready for you to pick up.

AT&T isn’t the first to do this of course. Best Buy, Verizon, Sprint, and a few other places have had in-store pickup for awhile now. But it’s always good to see more places offer the option. Will you be using this, if you have stores near you with this option?
