Verizon launches LG Lucid 3, free on two-year contract

For those looking for a free device on a two-year contract with Verizon can now pick up the LG Lucid 3, the latest in the carrier’s Lucid lineup. The handset will be free with a two-year agreement (along with a $12.49 monthly fee for 24 months), and will retail for $299.99 when bought outright.

The Lucid 3 is a mid-range handset running the latest version of Android, 4.4 KitKat, with features such as KnockON, Knock Code, QSlide 2.0 and QuickMemo, which can also be found on LG’s flagship handsets. On the hardware front, the phone flaunts a 4.7-inch IPS display of qHD (540×960) resolution and Gorilla Glass 3, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear and VGA front-facing cameras, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD slot with support for 64GB cards, and a 2,440 mAh battery. As expected, it supports Verizon’s LTE network.
