T-Mobile, Samsung Offers Up To $200 To Customers That Ditch Their BlackBerry

T-Mobile previously ran a campaign that encouraged its customers to upgrade to an iPhone rather than a BlackBerry 10 device. Now, the wireless carrier is also doing the same thing but this time around it is offering a gift card of up to $200 to any of its customers that are still using a BlackBerry to upgrade to a Samsung device. Not interested in getting Samsung? No worries as T-mobile will give you a $100 gift card which can be used to get the handset of your choice.

If you are a current T-Mobile BlackBerry subscriber and you want to get the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Light, or even the new Galaxy S5 then all you need to do is trade in your old BlackBerry for the Samsung device of your choice and get up to $200.

This offer is also valid for JUMP! customers who are eligible to avail of the promo. Customers just need to login to their Jump! accounts online to see if they are eligible.

T-Mobile BlackBerry customers who wish to stick to their devices will still get the same services that they are getting.  The carrier announced that “Nothing’s changed, including how your current T-Mobile BlackBerry device operates on our network now or in the future. Just like every T-Mobile customer, you can count on the very best customer service, no annual service contracts, the fastest nationwide 4G LTE network—everything. And rest assured, we’ve got your back from here on out.  But, if you’re ready to make a change now, you can get a $100 gift card when you upgrade your BlackBerry to any new smartphone.  Need more time? This offer will be available for the remainder of the year.”

BlackBerry has announced previously that it will not be renewing its contract to offer its devices to T-Mobile. After April 25, the carrier will no longer be offering any BlackBerry device. The reason for this is the previous campaign of the carrier to entice its customers to upgrade to the iPhone instead of the BB10.
