We recently saw a winner of the OnePlus Photomania contest posting some pictures taken from the upcoming smartphone revealing a decent and very capable sensor on board. Today, we’re coming across more sample images taken by another contest winner in a slightly different atmosphere.
The images shown off here reveal decent performance in sunny conditions and also reveal the bokeh effect with macro shots which has become a prerequisite with mobile cameras these days. Overall, this gives us a better idea of what to expect from this new smartphone sensor. Bear in mind, these images weren’t taken from a professional and not under the best conditions, so we can’t use this to judge the true nature of the smartphone’s camera.
The OnePlus One is expected to break cover on the 23rd of April with a wide range of countries expected to get the smartphone. It will feature a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and Android 4.4.2 KitKat with a new CyanogenMod 11 build. There are plenty of hopes and expectations from the OnePlus One and it will be interesting to see if the device will be able to live up to it.
