The Nexus 10 listing on the Google Play Store had the “out of inventory” status from quite a long time. But that has changed today as it now reads “coming soon”. Since it’s unusual for Google to mention an out of stock device with the coming soon tag, it is very likely that the page has inadvertently revealed the existence of the next-generation Nexus 10.
Oddly enough, the pricing which was also missing from the listing has now resurfaced, which is again an indication of a potential refresh launching soon. However, as with anything Google, it would be unwise to read too much into it as we have seen several such instances in the past. So don’t be surprised if that status changes to its normal state within the next few hours.
LG, HTC and Samsung are believed to be in the running to launch the second gen Nexus 10, so it will be interesting to see if these rumors will ever materialize.
