LG G2 on AT&T getting an update with Google Wallet related fixes

AT&T is now rolling out a small update to its version of the LG G2 with some Google specific changes on board. While these changes aren’t exactly major, they will come in handy if you use Google Wallet’s Tap & Pay service. For devices running Android 4.4.2, the update comes in at a meager 5.5MB. But if you’re yet to download KitKat on your AT&T LG G2, this update will bring you up to speed with the latest version of Android.

In this case however, the update will be much bigger at 679MB and will only be downloadable over WiFi. Post the update, users will see the software version change to D80020K. The update changelog also speaks of some changes to Google+ although there’s no specific word on what has changed.

If you’re yet to see the update, head over to the Settings on your smartphone and tap General – About Phone – Software Update – Update Now.
