T-Mobile To Offer The Samsung Galaxy S5 At $0 Down, Pre-Orders Start March 24

Samsung’s next flagship model is coming to the market soon and the major carriers all over the United States want to carry the device. AT&T earlier announced that it will be offering the Galaxy S5 at $200 on contract. Not to be outdone, T-Mobile also announced that it too will be carrying the device without any money down. The carrier is offering the device at $0 down with pre-orders starting on March 24.

John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile, said that “This thing is so hot we’ve already seen over a half a million pre-registrations for the Galaxy S 5. That’s a lot of very smart people grabbing this opportunity to pay nothing down, save more than a grand over the life of the other guys’ contracts, and have T-Mobile pay off every penny of their family’s early termination fees. It’s a brilliant move.”

T-Mobile’s Galaxy S5 can be availed of at $0 down but customers will have to make a $27.50 payment for 24 months. This adds up to $660 over the course of two years. In comparison AT&T is offering the device for $649.99 without a contract or monthly payments of as low as $25 for 24 months.

The carrier also announced that customers who pre-order the Galaxy S5 by March 31 can receive a special introductory price and will be one of the first to get the device at its stores without waiting in line. Aside from this the carrier is also slashing $120 off the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 will become available a T-Mobile this coming April 11.
