Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 spotted in a press image

Galaxy Tab 4 The existence of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 was revealed several weeks ago thanks to a comprehensive leak. But Samsung surprisingly has been very quiet about these new tablets, with nothing being mentioned even during the MWC announcement in late February. However, it’s well known that the tablet exists and now there’s further proof coming via @evleaks on Twitter. This is the press image of the 7 inch model of the Galaxy Tab 4 series with a design akin to every other Samsung device we’ve seen of late. The wallpaper shown in the press image is from the Galaxy S5, so it’s evident that a launch isn’t far away. The Galaxy Tab 4 lineup also includes 10.1 inch and 8 inch variants, which will target the midrange market segment much like the 7 inch model. All three models of the tablet will sport a resolution of 1280 x 800 and a low end 1.2 GHz quad core processor, so it’s certainly not a Nexus 7 killer. We will keep a close eye on this tablet for more information regarding launch and availability. Source: @evleaks – Twitter

  1. I don’t think Samsung’s tablets are selling all that well. They are losing money there.

  2. Will be interesting to see how they will do when Nexus 8 comes out. Samsung has to do a lot better than this if they want to capture the tablet market. Nexus rules in that department.

  3. Ugh, can Samsung please make some decent tablets? It wasn’t hard for Google to make a killer tablet for $229. Why do manufactures insist on making inferior products, favoring lots of marketing over quality?
