Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom Full Specs Spotted in Benchmark Listing

For those who love the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and wish you could upgrade to the S5 Zoom when it is available, the news that a possible Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom complete with full specs was spotted online a couple of hours ago.  The rumor is now doing rounds courtesy of a leaked benchmark test result from GFXBench that reveals most of the specs of the device.

According to PhoneArena, the device codenamed SM-C115 was spotted in benchmark results and it could be the S5 Zoom because of an extra-ordinary camera among other notable features.  This will be the second variant of the Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone after the standard version that was announced during the 2014 MWC in Barcelona but it could launch with another premium version with enhanced specs.

If this device is actually the S5 Zoom, then you should expect to see a device boasting of a 1.5 GHz hexa core Samsung Exynos 5 Hexa processor with a Mali-T624 graphics unit, 2 GB RAM and 8 GB onboard memory, a massive 19 megapixels rear and 2 megapixels front cameras and Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat out-of-the-box.

Interestingly, the device comes with a smaller 4.8 inch 720 x 1280 pixels display which is smaller and way inferior than the standard version’s 5.1 inch 1080 x 1920 pixels and the premium version that is expected to come with a 2K resolution.  Nevertheless, the device in question will have an external storage microSD card slot which will most likely be expandable by up to 64 GB.

Compared to the S4 Zoom, the S5 Zoom is quite an improvement – 4.8 inch 720p screen from 4.3 540×960 and a 19 megapixels primary camera from 16 megapixels is noticeable.  You should also know that the new Galaxy S5 Zoom is listed to have a Xenon flash as well as an Optical Image Stabiliser (OIS) but we do not know the exact details as of now.  What we know is that the S5 Zoom is real.
