OnePlus One revealed to have a metal unibody construction

A new leak has shown off the possible design of the upcoming OnePlus One smartphone. Accessed courtesy of a sketch, this reveals that the smartphone will carry a unibody design, much like the HTC One.

The company has already revealed that the smartphone will pack a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC and a 3,100 mAh battery with something known as the Mystery Tech. The handset is also rumored to feature Android 4.4 KitKat with a custom CyanogenMod build. The company is expected to share more details on the hardware in a couple of days according to a company teaser, so we’ll know more then.

Looking at how things are panning out, it seems like the OnePlus One could turn out to be one of the most talked about handsets in the coming months. The CEO of OnePlus has confirmed that the smartphone will cost under $400, which could be crucial for the handset’s success. We’re hoping the smartphone will available in global markets as well, in addition to China.
