The Moto X has been available via Republic Wireless for quite some time now. But it was missing the customization offered by other carriers via Moto Maker. However, that is going to change from tomorrow as the carrier will reportedly get official support for the popular customization tool.
This should mean that the Republic Wireless Moto X will be available straight from Motorola’s page starting tomorrow. One might say the carrier is a bit late to the party, but better late than never as they say.
The carrier will now join the likes of Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile in offering the Moto X via Moto Maker. This should provide a nice alternative for people willing to look beyond the standard white and black color variants of the Motorola flagship.
To jog your memory a little, the Moto X comes with a 4.7 inch 720p display, a 10-megapixel camera on the back, 1GB of RAM, the unique Motorola X8 chipset and Android 4.4 KitKat.
