The LG G2 mini is scheduled to go on sale around the world in April, and it looks like Sprint is preparing to make the mini smartphone available for its consumers. Evleaks has revealed that the Sprint model of the LG G2 mini will be released at some point, and will have the model number LS885, which is already listed on the carrier’s website.
The user agent profile for the LS885 can be found on Sprint’s website, confirming that the carrier will be getting the Snapdragon 400 variant of the device and not the Tegra 4i version. Oddly, the resolution of the display is listed as 720×1280 instead of 540×960, though this is likely an error unless LG is prepping a special variant for Sprint with a higher resolution display. Other specs aren’t mentioned, though we can expect them to remain the same as the international variant – that would include 1GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch IPS display, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 8GB of inbuilt storage and a microSD slot, a 2,440 mAh battery, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat with features like Knock Code.
Anyone looking to pick one up on Sprint?
