Leak reveals immediate availability of 2014 HTC One after NYC announcement

Verizon HTC One

The new HTC One is about to be announced this Tuesday in a New York City announcement. And it seems like the smartphone could be available immediately after it is announced, if this new leak is any indication. The leak suggests that the handset could be available for purchase at 1PM EST on March 25. The leak comes from a Verizon store which revealed a brochure of the new smartphone yesterday.

Considering that the HTC announcement kicks off at 11AM EST, it’s evident that Verizon and HTC is hinting at immediate availability, much like UK retailer Carphone Warehouse announced earlier this week. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but we’re guessing it will be the standard $199.99 with a two year contract and under $700 off contract. The time is not far away for the launch of the new HTC One, so we’ll keep you in the loop with any information on the new flagship.

The smartphone is expected to feature a 5 inch 1080p display, a quad core Snapdragon 801 chipset, the Duo Camera on the back, and Android 4.4 KitKat.
