Verizon Wireless to start selling the 2013 Nexus 7 next week

Nexus 7

According to sources cited by Droid-Life, the Nexus 7 will begin selling from Verizon with its 4G LTE radios starting next week. Early speculations hint at February 13 to be the likely launch date, which is this coming Thursday. The Nexus 7 tablet was subject to public ire when it was revealed that Verizon networks weren’t supported with the tablet. However, Verizon was believed to be launching the Nexus 7 with full network compatibility soon and the time has finally come now.

The tablet is over 7 months old now, so it has taken quite a while for the carrier to launch the tablet officially. The tablet could most probably be sold through Verizon’s online store or through Google Play like the AT&T variant, with a confirmation expected from Verizon next week. The Nexus 7 is one of the highest selling Android tablets of 2013, so it was high time Verizon fixed the network compatibility issue at the earliest. We can expect decent discounts and other promotions on the tablet as it is announced next week.
