Some ASUS Devices Will Be Getting KitKat Soon

Looks like Asus is upgrading some of their devices to KitKat. Today Asus announced that several of its devices in varying regions will get getting Android 4.4 KitKat along with an update to their ZenUI skin. These are the devices, along with the timeframe ASUS is aiming for:

  • All PadFone 2 models (by the end of Q2)
  • PadFone Infinity (in Asia and Russia by end of Q2).
  • PadFone A80 (in Europe by the end of Q2).
  • And new PadFone Infinity models (sometime in Q3).

So except for the PadFone infinity models, all of the devices will be updated by the end of Q2, which ends after June. So it won’t be long until you can have KitKat on your devices.
