Mugen launches 3,000 mAh battery case for the Sony Xperia Z1

Mugen Xperia Z1

Sony has been kind enough to equip the Xperia Z1 smartphone with a decent 3,000 mAh battery to accommodate for the 5 inch 1080p display and the Snapdragon 800 SoC. However, heavy users will find that even this isn’t sufficient. To solve this very issue, Mugen Power has launched a new 3,000 mAh battery case for the smartphone bringing the total backup to 6,000 mAh, which means that users can get double the usage with their Xperia Z1 using this case.

Of course the case won’t go easy on your wallets and will cost $89.50. But considering what it brings to the table, the pricing doesn’t seem like a whole lot. Users will also have to make their peace with the added bulk of the battery case, which increases the thickness of the smartphone as well. The cover has LED indicators at the bottom to show the remaining battery life, which is a neat touch. Mugen ships globally, so you can pick this battery case from any corner of the world. Mugen recently launched a 4,000 mAh battery case for the Xperia Z Ultra phablet which serves the same purpose.
