Moto G Getting Bug Fixes

Looks like Motorola is squashing some bugs. The GSM version of the Moto G is getting update version 174.44.1, which is still KitKat 4.4.2 underneath. Here are some of the bug fixes included in this update:

  • Fixed an issue which caused temporary cellular network loss for a small number of customers
  • Fixed wallpaper cropping issue
  • Resolved USB OTG support for USB drives
  • Fixed low call volume as experienced by some users

There aren’t any reports coming in of any CDMA or dual-sim versions of the Moto G getting this update, but if you own one you should keep your eye out. Motorola’s best-selling smartphone ever sure gets its bugs squashed exceedingly fast!
