LG G2 In The UK Is Getting KitKat In Mid-March

Well this is some good news. The UK-based LG G2 models are going to be getting KitKat soon. Mid-March, specifically. In a video uploaded to their YouTube channel, LG UK says there will be many improvements to the phone, even a speed boost.

With KitKat, you’ll obviously get the new features of Android 4.4, including Google Cloud Print, the Chromium web agent for web views in apps, emoji, and more. With KitKat, you will also get an (according to LG) 17% boost in performance. That’s a big boost, seeing as this phone already is a top of the line performer.

Since this update is going to be available in the UK in mid-March, you can be sure that the US versions won’t be far behind. So those of you with this phone, are you excited for the performance boost and KitKat features?
