Beta version of the Pebble Appstore now available on Android

Pebble Android

The Pebble team launched the Pebble Appstore on iOS yesterday, but unfortunately left out Android users. However, the team has launched a Beta version of the Android app as a consolation. The app is far from being perfect, as it’s made specifically launched for developers and Beta testers for the time being. This means that some of the basic functions like automatic pairing are still not in place. However, users can still download custom watchfaces like on the Pebble Appstore for iOS, although with certain limitations.

Users will have to register as a developer to use the app, which means you won’t be able to download the Appstore from the Play Store. Interested developers can sideload the APK from Pebble’s official site to give the app a try. Although some of its features are missing, its functionality should pretty much remain the same in the final release. Hit the source link below to register as a developer and give the Appstore a shot.
